What this content is
This site publishes editorial guidance built from manufacturers’ published specifications, published safety standards, and arithmetic over those figures. It is general information for a general audience.
Accuracy
We compile figures carefully and cite the source and the date on every product entry. Specifications change, model years change, and errors happen. We make no warranty that everything here is current or error-free, and you should check any figure that matters to you against the manufacturer’s own page before buying.
If you find an error, tell us: corrections are noted on the page with a date rather than silently edited, as set out in our editorial policy.

Third-party sites and sellers

Our content, and using our data
The writing, the layout, the compiled tables and the scoring method on this site belong to Edge & Powder. You are welcome to quote us and to link, including deep links, and we would appreciate attribution with a link back.
- Quoting a passage or a row from a table, with attribution and a link: fine.
- Republishing whole pages, or scraping the compiled tables wholesale to reproduce elsewhere: not fine.
- Manufacturer specifications are facts and belong to nobody; our compilation, our arithmetic and our writing are ours.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Edge & Powder and Fathom & Foundry are not liable for any loss or injury arising from use of this site or from any product bought through it. That is a legal formality, but the substance behind it is genuine: we cannot see your equipment, your ability or the conditions you are skiing in.
